The opening reception for an exhibition of works on paper by Frances Hodsdon, the late Marlene Graeber-Peters, and Jude Valentine will be held at the Maine Art Gallery Wiscasset on Friday, May 25 at 5 p.m.
This show, curated by John Lorence, an established Maine sculptor and painter, includes artists proofs, edition printing, and monotypes by three classically trained women. In addition to work chosen to be exhibited in the first floor gallery, limited portfolios of additional work by the artists will be available for viewing.
The Maine Art Gallery will be open to visitors for special hours during this exhibit. Beginning May 26, gallery hours will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday through July 7.
