Target Corp. (TGT) reported third quarter EPS of $1.17 Tuesday morning, compared to $0.87 in the prior year period. Street expectations were for EPS of $1.12. The company's revenue for the quarter rose 5.6% to $17.59 billion from $16.65 billion last year.
The company expects to report full year EPS of $5.30 to $5.50. Analysts are expecting EPS of $5.41.
Target has gapped open sharply lower this morning and is now down 5.93 at $71.22. The stock has dropped to nearly a 6-month low.
