Carpenters Motors introduced their new Nissan Terra SUV 7 seater during their annual New Year cocktail held at the Fiji Museum on Saturday night.

With the market value of $135, 000, Carpenters Motors general manager Nicholas Ling said of the 10 Nissan Terra SUV brought into Fiji, they have already sold nine.

Mr Ling said they will be introducing six more brand new vehicles for the year 2019 and continue to strive as the market leaders of vehicle sale in Fiji.

“The highlights will be introducing the new Nissan Terra, mid-size SUV to the Fijian market,” Mr Ling said.

“It has been a long time coming and we have been waiting for Nissan to come with this vehicle model which has taken on a lot of popularity.

“Right now we have sold 90 per cent of the Nissan Terra since its arrival beginning of the month.

“This will be one of the products that will compete head to head with some of the mid-size SUV in the market.”

Mr Ling added, “We are going very aggressively to gain more market share and expand our after sales services and facilities as well throughout the community and country by giving better service to our customers.”

Speaking on the event, Mr Ling said the night was about bringing together their corporate clients and celebrating their continuous support throughout 2018.

“Today is an event where we celebrate the New Year but also celebrating with our corporate clients and our valued customers,” he said.

“We would like to thank all our clients for all the support in 2018 for without their support we wouldn’t be able to achieve market leader of new vehicle sales in Fiji where we are currently holding 41 per cent market share.”

Mr Ling said Carpenters Motors is currently working on expanding workshops by opening in more satellite locations to cover up more areas in Fiji.

“We need to make sure that we offer the right solutions to the client, we focus on solution base offering.”
