Apr 22, 2024

High school seniors planning to take the next step in their academic careers can score buy-one-get-one-free admission tickets at WonderWorks Panama City Beach this May. In celebration of College Decision Day, WonderWorks is offering a BOGO special during the first week of the month, May 1-8, 2024. College-bound seniors can show their acceptance letters at the ticket counter to qualify for this special deal and celebrate this major accomplishment in their educational journey.

“What better way to celebrate this major milestone than having some fun at the upside-down house? Here at WonderWorks, we want to celebrate with you! Students can take advantage of this great BOGO deal as a congratulatory gesture for a job well done in preparation for the continuance of their academic career,” said Darren Grooms, general manager at WonderWorks Panama City Beach.

College Decision Day is May 1st around the country, as it often marks the deadline for high school seniors to commit to the college they have chosen to attend. It’s an exciting time each year for high school seniors and their families, and WonderWorks Panama City Beach wants to recognize this educational milestone with them.

From May 1-8, 2024, high school seniors can show their college acceptance letter at the WonderWorks Panama City Beach admissions desk and score BOGO tickets instantly for themselves and a guest. Whether purchasing WonderWorks Adventure tickets or VIP Combo tickets, guests will have access to the educational exhibits throughout the facility. All themed around science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM), the exhibits and attractions are enjoyable for guests of all ages. Students attending this event are encouraged to wear college apparel to show off where they will be attending with pride.

“This exciting event was created to honor and acknowledge our local students’ accomplishments as they prepare to finish up their high school years and head off to college,” said Amanda Hinzman, education sales manager at WonderWorks Panama City Beach. “Gather your friends and family and celebrate with some fun!”

College groups are invited to explore and enjoy WonderWorks all year long. There are plenty of entertaining opportunities for thrill seekers, including laser tag, a suspended ropes course, the Xtreme 360 Bikes, hurricane simulators, and other physical challenges. These attractions and others are great team bonding opportunities for groups such as sports teams, clubs, student activities excursions, sororities, and more. WonderWorks offers a special group rate for those visiting with 15 or more guests. Advanced registration is required to receive the group rate, which can be done online at: https://www.wonderworksonline.com/panama-city-beach/groups/.

WonderWorks Panama City Beach also offers a virtual reality Grave Digger monster truck ride, the Bubble Lab, extreme weather experiences, a space discovery zone, illusion art, and the Space Fury 360° experience. The activities and exhibits aim to keep guests physically active, encourage teamwork, and spark their imagination.
