Ronnie grew up in Savannah, Georgia, later moved to Baxley, and eventually settled in Coweta County, where he lived for 40 years. Ronnie retired from Atlanta Freightliner where he sold parts and trucks. His deep love for his wife, family, and friends will always be remembered. Ronnie enjoyed his family, holiday gatherings, racing, golfing, and weekends working on cars with friends (which they affectionately called "prayer meetings") and mud bog racing.

Ronnie was the most genuine person. If you knew him, you loved him. He was a hard-working man who worked all his life, beginning when he was 13 years old with a paper route. He then got a job driving a wrecker when he was 14 to buy a 1957 Chevy. He loved being on a racetrack!! He had a great sense of humor. He loved to laugh and have fun and pick at everyone. His favorite thing to do was race and I HOPE HE HITS THOSE GOLD STREETS ON TWO WHEELS!!!!
