Deputies seek man accused of putting Home Depot employee in a chokehold in Putnam County

PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — Deputies are seeking a man accused of putting a Home Depot employee in a chokehold in Putnam County.

The incident was captured on surveillance footage taken at about 2:45 p.m. on March 15 and depicts the suspect as a man wearing an orange hat, brown jacket and sporting facial hair.

According to the Putnam County Sheriff, the man fled the scene in a white truck along with another person.
