NFL turns its attention to Penn State for Pro Day; Scenes from the event

Penn State football has a strong group of players getting ready for the upcoming NFL Draft in late April. Friday was a chance for them to showcase their talents in front of NFL scouts at the teams annual Pro Day.

PSU’s top two prospects, defensive end Abdul Carter and tight end Tyler Warren chose not to participate, Carter because he is still recovering from a shoulder injury. Carter and Warren are both projected first round picks with the possibility of both going in the top 10.

Among the players that did participate were safeties Kevin Winston Jr. and Jaylen Reed, linebacker Kobe King, cornerback Jalen Kimber and defensive linemen Jvon J-Thomas, Coziah Izzard and Amin Vanover, wide receiver Julian Fleming and offensive lineman Sal Wormley.

Kimber ran a 4.39 40-yard dash to highlight the day.
