Whether it's writing, painting, carpentry, or gardening, we all dream of pursuing our hobbies once we reach retirement age. Travis Kelce is no exception. However, the Kansas City Chiefs star has a very different dream than most, and it includes a truckload of beer.

Rumors about Kelce's retirement grew exponentially after the Chiefs' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. The crushing 40-22 scoreline seemed too much for the star tight end to bear, so he took his time to think carefully about his future.

Ultimately, Kelce decided to run out of his contract, which ends in the 2025 season, and take a shot at his fourth Super Bowl ring. However, that doesn't mean he's not thinking about his future, as evidenced by his recent investment in a popular craft beer brand.

Kelce and Garage Beer

In June 2024, Travis and his brother Jason Kelce became the majority shareholders of Garage Beer, one of the largest craft beer producers in the US. Since then, the brothers have continued to promote the brand at every opportunity, as Travis did this week.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the company featured a photo of one of its delivery trucks, accompanied by the message "Truck flavored truck." Not one to miss a chance for a good sponsorship, Kelce shared the post asking, "Is this thing headed to my house?" to which the brand responded "On the way," with a saluting emoji.

No wonder. According to Garage Beer CEO Andy Sauer, the brand has grown exponentially since the Kelces partnered with them. He explained that they are by far the company's largest investors, but the money they've invested represents the effort they are putting into the business.

Travis Kelce's retirement plans

With almost a year of football left, Kelce isn't in a hurry to decide what he'll do after retirement. Between his stints as a television host, film actor, and now, beer entrepreneur, the future is a blank canvas for the Chiefs star.

But whether he wants to spend his retirement as an entertainer, brewing craft beer, or simply drinking a few cans of Garage Beer while watching his Chiefs games on TV, one thing is certain: If Kelce invests the same effort he put into his football career, he's guaranteed success.
