The Dutch Army could soon have more places to get their sugary fix, even in the comfort of their own homes.
Grants Pass-based Dutch Bros. has already seen a booming first quarter, with a 4.6% increase in system same shop sales through March 24 compared to the same time last year, according to a release. In that same time, it’s opened 27 new shops, including its 1,000th in Florida.
And the company isn’t stopping there. In addition to committing to having 2,029 shops by 2029, Dutch Bros. reached a deal with Trilliant Food & Nutrition LLC to launch a line of Dutch Bros.-packaged coffee and other products in retail outlets.
“This new channel, structured as a licensing agreement, will allow us to share our passion for exceptional beverages with a wider audience, and we are confident that our dedication to quality and innovation will resonate with consumers,” said Christine Barone, CEO and president, in a statement.
The company projects annual revenue growth of about 20% based on the opening of new shops as well as sales growth at existing locations.
The deal with Trilliant, which has products in 50,000 retail locations nationwide, will also contribute to Dutch Bros. revenue streams and allow the company to further its philanthropic efforts.
There are nine Dutch Bros. locations in the Tri-Cities, the newest one in West Richland.
