Liberal comedian Bill Maher argued during his “Real Time” show on Friday that federal funding for NPR and PBS should be halted due to their blatantly “far-left” political bias.
Wow, even Bill Maher knows that NPR and PBS are far-left radical outlets.

You know it's bad when even he can't defend them.

Discussing recent congressional testimonies by NPR CEO Katherine Maher and PBS CEO Paula Kerger, the late-night show host called the outlets “crazy far-left” in response to the NPR head claiming her organization is “completely unbiased.”
“Give me a break lady,” he said, asking, “Why do we need to subsidize?”
“We’re so polarized,” Maher added. “These outlets became popular at a time when Republicans and Democrats didn’t hate each other and weren’t at each other’s throats and didn’t think each other was an existential threat. In that world, you can’t have places like this, I think, anymore. They have to be private.”
There has been a growing movement in recent years to stop providing tax dollars to the overtly left-leaning outlets.
Maher’s comment comes as he’s planning to visit the White House soon for a conversation with President Donald Trump that could help ease some of the political tension taking place in the country over the past decade.
