Primark shoppers excited as more stores get new Click & Collect service

Primark has announced that its new Click and Collect service will be available in 186 UK stores from the summer, and shoppers are excited they can now shop online

Primark, the budget-friendly high street giant, has finally answered the prayers of its loyal shoppers by launching a new Click & Collect service.

The service will be rolled out across 186 UK stores, allowing customers to browse and order thousands of Primark products online for the first time.

The items can then be picked up in-store from two days later, at a time that suits the customer. This includes access to new and expanded ranges not previously available in their local store, such as Primark's new affordable adaptive clothing range. Designed in partnership with adaptive designer and disability campaigner, Victoria Jenkins, the range offers over 40 wardrobe staples for men and women living with disabilities.

Portsmouth's Primark is one of the latest stores which will get the service, and shoppers are certainly excited. Cascades Shopping Centre, where the store is located, announced the news on Facebook this week, writing: "Countdown Alert! On 16th April, Primark is launching Click and Collect in-store! Keep an eye out for our brand-new till desk on the first floor-it's nearly ready to take your orders!"

The post garnered hundreds as excited customers tagged their friends in the post. One amused shopper commented to a pal: "I'll be sending you in to collect all my parcels lol," while another hailed the i

nitiative as a "game-changer".

Kari Rodgers, UK Retail Director at Primark, said of the service: "We know that our customers love the convenience that Click and Collect offers, as well as the opportunity to access ranges otherwise only found in larger stores. With the roll out now due to complete in time for summer we hope this will help make summer holiday shopping that little bit easier."
