Coronation Street’s Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) is stunned when he gets an unexpected visitor next week.
It will be a welcome surprise for the Weatherfield mechanic, whose friendship with boss Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) is put to the test in forthcoming scenes.
Kevin, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment, snaps at Tyrone in the Rovers, and a confrontation ensues.
While the two men eventually manage to patch things up over a darts tournament, Tyrone returns home to find an unannounced guest on his doorstep.
It’s his young son with Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu), Dorrin.
Tyrone’s wife Fiz Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine) explains that Alina’s house has been flooded and she’s agreed they’ll look after Dorrin in the meantime.
Tyrone is delighted, but could this be the start of more trouble where Alina is concerned?

Tyrone found out he had a secret son when Alina returned to Weatherfield last year to give evidence of the people traffickers who brought her to the UK from Romania.
When Alina first appeared in 2019, it wasn’t long before she drove a wedge between Tyrone and his long-term partner Fiz, bringing an end to their nine-year relationship.
Tyrone and Fiz’s daughter Hope (Isabella Flanagan) wasn’t best pleased with their reunion and lit a fire in the flat which caused Alina to miscarry a baby.

But it transpired that when she left Weatherfield in 2021, she had secretly fallen pregnant again.

Tyrone’s subsequent discovery last year that had another son tested his relationship with Fiz once again.
But is there more to Dorrin’s return to the Street?
