BEAUMONT — American Air Systems Inc. is launching the seventh annual
#AmerAirCares campaign to provide a new heating and cooling system to a deserving homeowner in Chambers, Jefferson, Hardin, or Orange County.
Individuals can nominate their neighbor or another person they know by going to www.amerair.com/ameraircares through April 30.
Nominations will be reviewed by a committee of community leaders and the new system shall be installed in May, according to information from the business.
Owners, Terri and Lee Potter, say they look forward to giving back to someone in Southeast Texas who needs a little extra help.
“Our company has been blessed to grow in Southeast Texas because of the support of our customers and partners,” say the Potters. “We want to give back to someone who needs a new HVAC system for their home but may not be able to afford it on their own.”
To make this award possible, American Air Systems, Inc. partnered with their HVAC distributor, Carrier Enterprise. Lee Potter said, “It is amazing to see how people come together and offer support when they find out how you want to give back. We are fortunate to work with some wonderful businesses in the community who have supported this program for the last six years.”
The final winner of the new system will be notified in May and, soon after, the new system installed. Some ideas for those in need includes, but is not limited to, those in financial need, a wounded veteran, or someone whose home was damaged in a storm.
American Air Systems, Inc. was started in 1982 by Don Potter and serves residential customers in Chambers, Jefferson, Hardin, and Orange counties.
They provide maintenance, service on all AC systems, central air
conditioning, furnaces, heat pumps, air filters, indoor air quality with sales and service options. The company also provides plumbing services, Generac Home Stand By generator installation and maintenance, and HALO Water System installation and maintenance. The company continues to operate as a family-owned business when he turned it over to his son, Lee Potter, in 2018.
This campaign is one of many ways American Air Systems Inc. stays involved in the Southeast Texas community. Several employees are engaged on local
nonprofit boards of directors, volunteer in various organizations, and otherwise support the community.
