Larry Vern Skiver, 74, of Liberty Center, Ohio, passed away on April 3, 2025.
He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on June 17, 1950, to the late Vern and Donna (Friend) Skiver. On July 20, 1979, Larry married Ruth Kingsley in Toledo, Ohio.

Larry Vern Skiver, 74, of Liberty Center, Ohio, passed away on April 3, 2025.
He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on June 17, 1950, to the late Vern and Donna (Friend) Skiver. On July 20, 1979, Larry married Ruth Kingsley in Toledo, Ohio.
Larry was an active member of Bethany Baptist Church, where he enjoyed teaching Sunday School and any other role that the church needed. He was a constant presence at the church and walked in his faith. Larry enjoyed quarter mile drag racing and introduced the sport to his wife, Ruth.
Larry is survived by his children, Trisha (Gregg) Eubank, Larry Skiver II, Todd Kibbey and Kelly (Tim) Young-Hill; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and siblings, Bob (Donna) Skiver, Maryellen Huff, Cheryl Smith, Nick (Cheryl) Skiver and Tom Skiver.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; and his parents.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, 14070 Bailey Road, Grand Rapids, Ohio 43522.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
