Families can enjoy a fun-packed visit to Nunnington Hall this Easter.

Throughout the Easter school holiday, there’s a range of exciting activities at the National Trust property, near Helmsley.

Children can take part in an Easter egg hunt around the garden, with familiar activities to be completed including sack races, archery, seed planting, and an egg and spoon race, before collecting their egg at the end.

Over the Easter weekend, on Sunday, April 20, and Monday, April 21, there will be additional activities for people to get involved with in the garden, including crafts and races on the main lawn.

Sarah Nolan, visitor experience officer at Nunnington Hall, said: "It’s all about families having fun here at Nunnington over Easter and we’ve made sure there’s plenty for them to do during their visit.

"The Easter egg hunt trail, which is available for the full two weeks, is always popular and a great way to enjoy being outdoors.

"On Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday there will be themed children’s races on the main lawn, which always draw a crowd.

"For children who prefer a quieter visit, we’ll also be offering craft sessions over those two days."

Children can also explore the Lion’s Den play area, with its obstacle course, rope bridge, and climbing frame.

They will also be able to see the hall’s resident peacocks.

Families can join the Easter egg hunt at Nunnington Hall daily from Saturday, April 5 until Monday, April 21, 10.30am to 5pm (with last entry at 4pm).
