It's no secret J.K. Rowling speaks her mind when it comes to the LGBTQ+ community, and asexual people are the latest to be subjected to her wrath.

The best-selling author of the Harry Potter book series has faced widespread backlash for her comments on radical gender ideology and has consistently criticized trans people — no matter how many people try to cancel her for it.

And in her latest outburst, Rowling, whose full name is Joanne Kathleen Rowling, took to X on Sunday to point out what she sees as the absurdity of another day celebrating a group of people who identify as asexual.

"Happy International Fake Oppression Day to everyone who wants complete strangers to know they don't fancy a s--g," she sarcastically wrote.

As per Wikipedia, asexuality is when people experience no sexual feelings or desire for anyone and according to the holiday's official website, "IAD is a coordinated worldwide campaign promoting the ace umbrella, including demisexual, grey-asexual and other ace identities."

The group even has its own flag with black, gray, purple, and white stripes. The asexual community aligns itself with the LGBTQ+ movement, and J.K., who fully supports lesbian and gay rights, believes there's no comparison.

One of her followers wrote, "As a gay man, can someone tell me why straight people not wanting to get laid has ANYTHING TO DO WITH ME?!" She responded, "Sure, people are still killed for being gay in a lot of countries, but straight people who don't fancy a quickie are being literally ignored to death, John. Is that what you want?"

J.K. Rowling has become known for standing strongly on girls and womens' rights

Another person, @JohnBoyneBooks, joined in on the discussion, penning, "This is the problem with lumping everyone who isn't straight into a 'LGBTQ etc' category. If asexual people don't want sex, good luck to them. But gay people quite like it, actually. So why am I and other gays thrown in a category with them? Makes no sense."

The comment prompted another reply from The Ickabog writer, who said, "Refusing to accept that people who don't like sex belong in the gay category is akin to wanting segregated bathrooms in the 1950s, John, as approximately a thousand gender activists will inform you once their hands stop literally shaking."

A third person, @DannoWrites, who was seemingly in agreement with Rowling's stance, said, "Everything has its own day now, what will be next?" to which the writer replied, "I want an International Bored Of This S--t day."

Not everyone was in agreement with Rowling though, user @Kalopsiac1984 fumed, "Imagine being so desperate for attention that you invent an "oppressed identity" based on not wanting sex, and then demand parades, hashtags, and corporate sponsorships for it."

"Asexuality isn’t oppression. It’s a private preference, dressed up as a civil rights struggle to satisfy people who have nothing real to fight for," they added.

Another person @ObsidianRaiyne chimed in, "I typically don’t get in these discussions because they’re toxic, but what’s the point of this? Why do you feel the need to attack people and shame them?"

As user @bettypge69 went as far as to blast, "I wish I had never bought your books ! You are such an unbridled bigot!" "Really glad I never got into Harry Potter," echoed user @DannyWxo.
