McDonald’s, Wendy’s & 5 other popular fast food chains may soon hike prices – see if your favorite will take a hit

FAST food lovers could be facing even higher prices at their favorite chains in the coming months.
With President Trump’s "Liberation Day" tariffs now in effect, popular chains are looking at price hikes that could hit your wallet hard.
The new tariffs, which were announced on April 2, target several countries that supply key ingredients to US restaurants.
From beef to palm oil and coffee, fast food giants are facing rising costs and many may pass those costs on to customers.
McDonald's, for instance, sources beef from Australia, which now faces a 10% tariff.
The popular chain also imports beef from Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay all affected by the new trade rules.

WENDY'S
Wendy's might dodge a beef price increase, but it isn't the clear.
The chain relies on palm oil, imported from countries like Indonesia, which now faces a whopping 32% tariff.
While Wendy's doesn't use a lot of palm oil, the price increase could still be significant for certain products.
TIM HORTONS
Tim Hortons, the coffee giant, also faces higher costs.
The company sources beans from Guatemala and Colombia, both of which are impacted by the tariffs, especially Guatemala, which is hit with a 10% levy.
BURGER KING
Burger King could see a bump in beef prices as well.
The chain imports beef from Australia, and the 10% tariff on Australian beef is expected to disrupt supplies.
As of last year, the US imported almost 400,000 tons of Australian beef.
CHIPOTLE
Chipotle, known for its commitment to sustainable sourcing, is another chain bracing for price hikes.
With beef coming from the US, Canada, Australia, and Uruguay, the rising tariffs on beef imports from Canada and Australia could trickle down to your burrito.
