Three trails in Pembrokeshire have been named among the best in Wales for spotting bluebells and other wildflowers this spring.
AllTrails - one of the most trusted and used outdoor platforms/apps in the world and Apple's iPhone App of the Year in 2023 - has come up with a list of the best bluebell walks in Wales.
Locations to feature on the list range from Skomer Island in Pembrokeshire up to Llangollen in North Wales.

So if you are looking at heading out for a walk this spring to catch a glimpse of some bluebells, these are the best places to do it, according to AllTrails:

- Dinefwr Park Circular – Carmarthenshire
- Llangollen, Castell Dinas Brân, and Horseshoe Falls Circular – Denbighshire

Skomer Island Circular
Length: 6.8km

Difficulty: Moderate
The best bluebell walk in Wales, according to AllTrails, is the Skomer Island Circular trail.
Skomer is the largest Pembrokeshire island and is home to the largest colony of seabirds in southern Britain and the largest colony of Max shearwaters in the world.

"Make sure to keep an eye out for dolphins and seals in the water, as well as puffins and other seabirds, which are best observed in spring and summer."
But it's not just the spectacular views and wildlife to keep an eye out for.
AllTrails also said the Skomer Island trail "come alive" with wildflowers in spring.
Marloes Peninsula Circular
Length: 10.5km
Estimated time: 2 hour 36 minutes (estimated)
Difficulty: Moderate
AllTrails rated the Marloes Peninsula Circular trail as the third best bluebell walk in Wales.

The experts explained: "This is a beautiful heathland peninsular trail, with amazing views of the coast and teeming with wildlife.
"There are several rugged islands off the coast such as Skomer and Grassholm, which house major seabird colonies so look out for Puffins, Guillemots, Gannets, Razorbills and other seabirds during spring and summer.
"Chough can be seen all year round. The trecherous waters of Jack Sound, lying between Deer Park and Midland Isle, are a popular haunt for Porpoise.
"The area is also excellent for cliff top seal watching."
Colby Woodland Garden, Amroth, and Wiseman's Bridge Circular
Length: 7.2km
Estimated time: 1 hour 57 minutes (estimated)
Difficulty: Moderate
The Colby Woodland Garden, Amroth and Wiseman's Bridge Circular trail is located near Narberth and is the fifth best in Wales for bluebells.

The trail in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, which is open all year round, takes you through Colby Woodland Garden to the coast and along Marros Sands.

As you wander through the woodland, meadows and walled gardens in Colby Woodland Garden, you will find a range of wildflowers, including:
- Bluebells
- Daffodils
- Rhododendrons
- Azaleas
Once you have admired all the wildflowers, the rest of the trial includes everything from "stunning" coastal views and the village of Amroth to Wiseman's Bridge, Ford's Lake and Pleasant Valley woodlands.
