BENEFIT

Nine nonprofit organizations have been selected as recipients of grant funding from BENEFIT.

BENEFIT is a coalition of musicians and community leaders uniting people with music to raise funds and awareness for nonprofit organizations serving children in Loudoun County.

A total of $30,000 was awarded among the nine organizations. The grant funding was raised from a portion of the proceeds of BENEFIT’s 2024 Crossroads Music Festival held last September throughout downtown Leesburg.

Grant recipients are: Food for Neighbors, $3,600; A Hand Up - NOVA, Inc., which operates the Northern Virginia Diaper Bank, $3,400; Loudoun Youth, Inc., $3,400; A Place to Be, $3,400; Salvation Army of Loudoun, $3,300; The Arc of Loudoun, $3,300; Dulles South Food Pantry, $3,200; Ryan Bartel Foundation, $3,200; and Dulles South Soup Kitchen, $3,200.

In addition to this year’s grant funding, the organizations also will receive awards from a portion of the proceeds of BENEFIT’s 2025 Crossroads Music Festival to be held Friday, Sept. 19, and Saturday, Sept. 20.

More information about BENEFIT’s 2025 Crossroads Music Festival will be available closer to the event dates. Businesses seeking to sponsor the event can find sponsorship information on BENEFIT’s website.
