Inside Today show's Jenna Bush Hager's home - floral wallpaper to huge closets
Jenna Bush Hager, who grew up in Texas and Washington DC when he father was elected president, relocated her family of five to a lavish six-bedroom home in Connecticut
Today Show’s Jenna Bush Hager shared some sweet snaps this weekend, from a family birthday, and gave followers a peek inside her new home.
The eldest of the Hager children, Mila, turned 12 on April 13, and her proud mom shared several pictures of the celebrations on her Instagram account. The 43-year-old host and daughter of former president George Bush recently relocated her family of five to Connecticut after years in New York City, where Jenna & Friends is filmed.
The clan moved to a lavish six-bedroom residence in Connecticut with an in-ground pool, a cozy fireplace, and lots more space.
Her followers were delighted to catch a glimpse of what the interior of Jenna’s new pad looked like. Photos this weekend showed details like floral wallpaper, an open fireplace, an ornate mantelpiece and other feminine features. Jenna's fans also got a glimpse at huge floor-to-ceiling closets.
One picture showed two helium balloons in the shape of a one and a two, to mark Mila’s special day. The picture shows a floral armchair and cream carpets, with the family cat in the center of the picture.
Jenna’s taste for traditional feminine interior decor may come from her time as editor of Southern Living magazine.
Jenna grew up primarily in Texas, with her family initially living in Dallas before moving to Austin, when her father George W Bush was elected Governor of Texas. Jenna had just graduated high school when her father became the 43rd president of the United States.
Naturally her parents relocated to Washington DC, while Jenna attended the University of Texas at Austin and took summer classes at New York University. She has been a correspondent and contributor for The Today Show since 2009.
Jenna is currently busy promoting her new book that she co-wrote alongside her twin-sister Barbara Pierce Bush. Last month, the pair were joined by their mom Laura Bush on an episode of Today to discuss the literary offering.
