NEW BERLIN — Sophomore Waylan Hang carded an even-par 36 for medalist honors, helping the Menomonee Falls boys golf team win the first Greater Metro Conference mini-meet of the season at New Berlin Hills Golf Club on Monday.
Hang had one birdie and one bogey on his round, as the Phoenix totaled 160 strokes as a team. Brookfield East was third (167), Brookfield Central sixth (175) and Hamilton seventh (176).
Freshman Trey Noll led the Spartans with a 39, finishing in a tie for third with Falls senior Drew Misiak. Also finishing in the top 10 were Central senior Cole Smith (41), East sophomore Owen Schroeder (41) and Central sophomore Owen Soung (42).
