Global megastars Beyonce and Jay-Z are said to be considering a move from Hollywood to the picturesque Cotswolds, a region popular with A-list celebrities. According to reports, the couple are drawn to the area's "land and space" following the LA wildfires in January 2025.
A source close to the family revealed to MailOnline that Beyonce, Jay-Z, and their children, Blue Ivy, 13, Rumi, seven, and Sir, seven, have previously vacationed in the Cotswolds. The family might be looking at Great Tew, near Chipping Norton, which is also where Taylor Swift reportedly stayed during her UK tour in June 2024.
Great Tew is home to the exclusive Soho Farmhouse, a private members' club with a £2,950 annual membership fee, frequented by celebrities and high-profile individuals, including Meghan Markle, who held her hen party there. As self-proclaimed "foodies," the couple may be attracted to The Trough at Daylesford Farm, one of only 33 Michelin Green Star restaurants in the country.

The upscale restaurant offers a salad for £23, a cheese tart for £18.50, and a bottle of premium red wine for £55. Alternatively, the couple might also consider Burford, a charming town in the Cotswold hills, famous for Jeremy Clarkson's pub, The Farmer's Dog, which offers an extra-extra large pie for £199.99.
The couple has previously spoken about following a plant-based diet and are renowned for leaving generous tips at Michelin-starred restaurants. They reportedly once left a £376 tip after a £904 meal at Italian restaurant Nello in New York City.
In an unexpected move, Beyonce may be considering the 'hippest town in the Cotswolds,' which is just 10 miles from Chipping Norton. Shipston-on-Stour, also with a CV36 postcode, boasts independent charity and antique shops, as well as convenient transport links to London.

The Cotswolds, spanning across Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, has become a popular countryside retreat for the wealthy and famous. A-listers such as David and Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Lily Allen, Simon Cowell, and Ellen Degeneres own properties in the area - Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm is also located there.
According to the source, the family is currently looking for a short-term arrangement while exploring their options. They added: "They've been looking for properties and will buy if they find somewhere that feels like home, but are looking at short-term agreements while they make their decision.
"The wildfires have given them a good reason to look outside of Los Angeles to build new bases. They will always be based in LA, but the UK is on the agenda.
"Beyonce loves the UK because they support everything she does."
