Badge vs. Badge benefit softball game set for next weekend in Brewer
Game will raise money for new Little League facilities
BREWER, Maine (WABI) - Brewer’s Dorian ‘D-Max’ Pillsbury is making sure his final season of Little League baseball is one to remember.
He’s organizing a Badge vs. Badge Softball Game on Sun. May 4 at 10 a.m. at the Little League field to improve the facility.
“I’m really excited. I don’t know who’s going to win. I think the firefighters because they’re big, strong, and they climb up houses and stuff. But, I don’t know. It could be either one. Everybody’s been a huge help. I’m so excited. I’m so thankful for the fire department and the Brewer police department to come help out,” said Pillsbury, youth leader, Brewer Little League advocate.
Badge vs. Badge is the latest fundraising effort for Pillsbury.
He’s raised more than $10,000 for local causes before turning 12.
