M25 traffic as motorists face delays on major motorway after crash involving motorbike
Ambulance services and traffic officers were scrambled to the scene.
A motorbike crash on the M25 sparked long delays on Monday, April 28. The incident caused multiple miles of congestion this morning on the anti-clockwise carriageway between Junction 11 (Ottershaw) and Junction 10 (Wisley).
Following the incident, emergency services including traffic officers and paramedics were scrambled to the scene. At the height of the traffic jam, National Highways reported up to 50 minutes of delays and seven miles of congestion.

Traffic returns to normal - all lanes open
Traffic is now moving freely according to National Highways on the M25 anti-clockwise carriageway between Junction 11 (Ottershaw) and Junction 10 (Wisley) after a crash this morning caused "severe delays".
At their height, delays of one hour were reported by National Highways on the motorway at around 9am this morning (April 28).
What happened?
A motorbike crash saw a lane closed on the M25 this morning.
Traffic monitoring site Inrix is reported "long delays" on the M25 anticlockwise from Junction 11 A320 St Peters Way (Chertsey) to Junction 10 A3 (Wisley Interchange). With additonal congestion to J13 Staines, back past the M3, and opposite back towards J9 Leatherhead.
National Highways reported one hour delays on the M25 anticlockwise between Junctions 11 and 10. As well as around seven miles of congestion on approach.
The lane has now reopened, but traffic persists.
