STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- A fair in the community is here to put your mind at ease when it comes to your health and that of your loved ones.
The Passport to Health Fair, hosted by H.E.A.L.T.H for Youths, is happening on Saturday, May 10. It will bring together community members and local health and wellness organizations to share valuable resources aimed at improving the health and well-being of Staten Island residents.
With Staten Island having some of the highest rates of illnesses like diabetes in New York City, this fair offers a much-needed opportunity for the borough to get vital health needs met.
This year’s fair will offer free health services — including diabetes testing, lung capacity checks, and eye exams — plus a free yoga session, nutrition and wellness information, Narcan training and more.
Guests can also look forward to engaging presentations, interactive wellness demonstrations, and valuable connections with organizations offering practical tools for healthier living.
“We welcome you, your family and friends to join us,” Heather Butts, co-founder of H.E.A.L.T.H for Youths, said. “The fair is open to all and will provide a chance to learn, engage, and access important health resources.”

The Passport to Health Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gerard Carter Community Center, located at 230 Broad St.
