
Advisory and accounting firm Wipfli has appointed of Charley Boyle as its new chief data and analytics officer.
Boyle has more than 20 years of global experience in decision analytics, with a focus on digital data and AI transformation across a range of industries.
At Wipfli, he will focus on building data science teams, enhancing machine learning and AI applications, developing data products for monetisation, and designing AI solutions to improve data efficiency and client services.

Before joining Wipfli, Boyle served as vice president at Fortive, where he led data strategy for three operating companies and acted as product general manager for data and AI solutions.

During his tenure at Fortive, Boyle developed an AI-enabled anomaly detection model for predictive maintenance in retail and a Generative AI large language model for healthcare clients.
These were aimed at providing actionable data insights for capital asset planning.
Prior to his role at Fortive, Boyle held positions as chief data and analytics officer at Octo Telematics and chief data scientist at Honeywell.
Boyle said: “My plan really centres around building organisational trust in the data, establishing more effective data governance and then creating a sustainable foundation for enabling advanced analytics and AI capabilities that deliver measurable business value.”
This move comes shortly after Wipfli appointed Rebekah Gardner as the firm’s chief growth officer. Gardner joined from Ryan, where she served as the global chief sales officer.
Wipfli, with more than 3,300 associates, provides a range of services including digital, people, strategy, risk, financial, and outsourcing solutions to more than 55,900 clients.
